Don Daseke – Chairman of the Board

A Certified Public Accountant by education, Mr. Daseke has been a successful entrepreneur for many years. He was the founder, Chairman and CEO of Walden Residential Properties, Inc., a Real Estate Investment Trust listed on the New York Stock Exchange until its sale for $1.7 billion in 2000. Mr. Daseke was also the Founding Chairman of the Board of Sage Telecom, Inc., a uniquely successful telecom company with more than 540,000 customers in 2005.

Mr. Daseke is a past director of American Auto Exchange Inc.; Chairman of R.E. Technologies, Inc.; past Chairman of the Dallas Chapter of World Presidents Organization; past Chairman of Netier Technologies; Chairman of Galapagos Studios, Inc.; an Advisory Director of SKH Management, L.P.; the past Vice Chairman of Mirage Systems; the past Chairman of BigFatWow, Inc.; Chairman of FasTran Transit, Inc.; a Vice President of the WaterTower Theatre; a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accounts and a Trustee of DePauw University.

Mr. Daseke received his B.A. from DePauw University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

John Grimes, Sr. – Director

Mr. Grimes worked in the automotive industry for almost 40 years, the last thirty of which were with Enterprise Rent A Car. When he retired from Enterprise in 2000, Mr. Grimes was President of its D/FW Region with 110 offices and annual revenues exceeding $300 million.

He was a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago with a BBS in management and finance. Mr. Grimes is or has been involved with The Science Place, Children’s’ Education Fund, Thanksgiving Square, Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, St. Rita Parish finance committee, Jesuit Foundation, Jesuit College Prep Board of Trustees, the St. Paul Hospital Foundation, The Lamplighter School Board of Trustees, and as a director of Aleris International, Inc.

Dr. James Beckett - Director

Jim Beckett is the leading authority on sports card values in the United States. He is the author of numerous books on sports card collecting and is founder and publisher of the popular Beckett monthly magazines for collectors and Beckett.com online destination and community for sports collectibles enthusiasts.

Jim Beckett earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from Southern Methodist University in 1975. Prior to starting Beckett in 1984, he served as an Associate Professor of Statistics at Bowling Green State University and as vice president of a consulting firm in Dallas, Texas.

Steve Ivy - Director

Steve Ivy is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman of Heritage Galleries and Auctioneers of Dallas, Texas. Heritage is the third largest art and collectible auctioneer in the world with offices in five countries and annual sales in excess of $400 million. Heritage deals in rare coins, currency, comic art, illustrative art, decorative art, fine art, rare silver, sports and Hollywood and music memorabilia, movie posters, comic books, and manuscripts, Americana, pop culture, rare jewelry, and rare wine. Mr. Ivy founded the company in 1963.

Mr. Ivy is the immediate past President of the Professional Numismatist Guild and current Chairman of the Industry Council for Tangible Assets. He has served on the Boards of the Texas Historical Foundation, the Dallas Historical Society and was former Board Chair of Dallas Challenge. Mr. Ivy attended the University of Texas at Austin.
